Earn Free Lifetime Add-ons by Writing a Review
As a thank you to our lifetime deal holders, you can earn free lifetime add-ons by leaving honest reviews for DashboardFox on public review platforms. Each approved review unlocks a credit you can redeem against any of your lifetime workspaces — no purchase required.
This article covers how to submit reviews, earn credits, and redeem them to your workspaces.
How It Works
The review incentive program runs on three platforms: G2, Capterra, and SourceForge. You can write one review per platform, for a total of up to three approved reviews.
Each approved review earns you a credit that grants a specific set of add-ons:
1st approved review: +1 Custom Domain, +1 Branding Policy
2nd approved review: +5 Public View Licenses
3rd approved review (sweep bonus): +2 Named Users, +5 Public View Licenses
If you write reviews on all three platforms, you earn everything above — a total of +2 Named Users, +10 Public View Licenses, +1 Custom Domain, and +1 Branding Policy.
Reviews are reviewed by our team and typically approved within 2 business days.
Before You Begin
To participate, you'll need:
At least one lifetime deal code already redeemed on a workspace you own
Your earliest lifetime code redemption must be at least 14 days old — this helps ensure reviews reflect genuine product experience
Your review must already be published on the platform (not a draft or pending the platform's own moderation) before you submit the URL to us
To redeem an earned credit, you'll also need at least one workspace with an active lifetime code. Credits can be redeemed to any such workspace you own.
Submitting a Review
Start by writing your review directly on the platform. Here are the review pages:
Once your review is published on the platform, submit the URL to us for approval:
Log in to the management portal
Go to Billing → Subscription → Lifetime Add-ons
Click the Earn Free Add-ons tab
Find the platform you reviewed on and click Submit URL
Paste the direct URL to your published review
(Optional) Paste a URL to a screenshot of your review — this helps our team verify if the platform review is hard to find later
Confirm the consent statement and click Submit for Review
Our team will review your submission within 2 business days. You'll receive a notification when your submission is approved or rejected.
What Happens After Approval
When your submission is approved, a credit is automatically added to your My Credits section on the Earn Free Add-ons tab. The credit is tied to your user account — not to a specific workspace — so you have flexibility in where you apply it.
Credits are permanent once earned. If a platform later removes your review, your credit stays valid.
Redeeming a Credit to a Workspace
Credits don't apply automatically — you choose which workspace each credit goes to. This is a one-time, permanent decision, so pick carefully.
Go to Billing → Subscription → Lifetime Add-ons → Earn Free Add-ons on any of your lifetime workspaces
In the My Credits section, find the credit you want to redeem
Select the target workspace from the dropdown — only workspaces you own that have an active lifetime code will appear
Click Redeem
The add-on is applied to the chosen workspace within moments. You can view it afterward in the My Add-ons tab, where it will appear labeled Review Bonus to distinguish it from purchased add-ons.
Once redeemed, a credit cannot be moved to a different workspace. Make sure you've chosen the right one.
If a Review Is Rejected
Our team may reject a submission for a few reasons. What you can do next depends on the reason:
Admin QA failed — Something about the submission needs correction (wrong URL, review doesn't match the submitter, etc.). You can resubmit to the same platform with no penalty.
Not yet published — The review isn't publicly visible yet. Wait for the platform to publish it, then resubmit. This doesn't count against you.
Platform rejected — The platform declined to publish your review. You can resubmit one more time for this platform. After a second rejection, the platform is closed for your account.
Platform banned — A platform has indicated you may not review them. That platform is permanently closed for your account. You can still earn credits on the other platforms.
In the Submission History section on the Earn tab, rejected submissions will show a Resubmit button when you're still eligible to try again.
If Your Lifetime Code Is Refunded
The review program is a thank-you for lifetime holders. If your lifetime code is revoked or refunded:
Any add-ons you earned through reviews and redeemed to that workspace are deactivated, along with any other add-ons on the workspace
If you have no other workspaces with an active lifetime code, any unredeemed credits you're holding are voided
If you have at least one other active lifetime workspace, your unredeemed credits stay available and can be redeemed there
Re-obtaining a lifetime code later does not restore previously voided credits.
Credits that were already redeemed before the refund remain on the user's record for audit purposes even if the associated add-on is deactivated.
Tips for a Smooth Approval
Write honestly. Reviews must reflect your real experience. Our approval checks primarily that the review is yours and genuinely published — we're not judging whether it's positive or critical.
Wait for the platform to publish. Many platforms have their own moderation step. Submit only once the review is publicly visible at the URL you paste.
Disclose the incentive. Each review platform has its own guidelines around disclosure of review incentives. Follow the platform's policy — failure to do so may cause the platform to remove your review.
Use the direct review URL. A link to the product's listing page won't work — the URL should open directly to (or near) your review.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I review twice on the same platform? No. Each platform allows one review per person, and our program reflects that — only one approved review per platform will earn a credit.
Does the order of platforms matter? No. Approving the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd submissions in any order earns the corresponding milestone credits.
What if the platform removes my review later? Your earned credit remains valid. Removal after approval doesn't revoke the credit.
Can I redeem a credit to a non-lifetime workspace? No. Credits can only be redeemed to workspaces with at least one active lifetime code.
Can an admin redeem a credit on my behalf? No. Redemption is performed by the credit owner only, through the management portal.
