Cancelling Your Subscription or Trial
This article covers how to cancel a paid subscription or a trial from within DashboardFox. Cancellation does not delete your workspace immediately — see the details below for what happens after you cancel.
Before You Cancel
If you are on a trial and do not cancel, your trial will expire naturally and the workspace will go through a grace period before being permanently deleted — typically around 30 days after expiry. You do not need to take any action if you simply want to stop using it.
The main reason to actively cancel a trial is if you want to trigger deletion sooner — for example, to remove any data you entered during evaluation.
How to Cancel
Click Billing in the right-hand sidebar inside DashboardFox.
Select the Subscriptions tab.
Scroll to the bottom of the Plan & Usage tab.
Click Cancel Subscription or Cancel Trial.
A modal will open to guide you through the cancellation.
Step 1: Select a Reason
Select a reason for cancelling from the dropdown. This is required before you can proceed. Once you select a reason, an optional text field appears where you can add any additional feedback. If you select Other, the text field becomes required.
When you are ready, click Continue.
Step 2: Confirm Cancellation
A confirmation screen shows exactly what will happen when your cancellation is processed. Review the details, then click Yes, Cancel to confirm. If you change your mind, click Go Back to return to the reason screen, or close the modal to exit without making any changes.
What Happens After You Cancel
Paid subscription: Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be made. After your access period ends, your workspace will be scheduled for deletion. You can reactivate anytime before that date.
Trial: Cancelling ends your trial immediately. Your workspace remains accessible for 3 more days, then it is scheduled for deletion. You can still subscribe during those 3 days if you change your mind.
Reactivating After Cancellation
If you cancel and change your mind, go to Billing → Subscriptions. While your access period is still active, a Reactivate button will appear on the Plan & Usage tab. See the Managing Your Subscription article for details on reactivation.
