Transferring a Lifetime Workspace to Another Owner

You can transfer ownership of an entire lifetime workspace to another DashboardFox account — handy if you're handing a project to a colleague, a client, or a new account of your own. The workspace keeps its lifetime status, and everything attached to it goes along.

Transfers are managed from the Customer Management Portal at my.dashboardfox.app (or my-eu.dashboardfox.app if your workspace is on the EU region).


What Can and Can't Move

It's important to understand the distinction:

  • A whole workspace can be transferred to a new owner. Its lifetime status, stacked codes, allocations, and applied add-ons all transfer with it.

  • An individual code cannot be detached from one workspace and moved to another. Once redeemed, a code stays permanently allocated to its workspace. (See Redeeming Your Lifetime Deal Code.)

So you can hand off the workspace as a unit — you just can't cherry-pick codes out of it.


What Transfers With the Workspace

When the new owner accepts the transfer:

  • Lifetime status is preserved — the workspace does not drop to a trial. The new owner immediately owns a lifetime workspace.

  • All stacked codes and their allocations move with the workspace.

  • Applied add-ons — both purchased and review-earned add-ons already active on the workspace — transfer with it.

Unredeemed review credits stay with your account, not the workspace — they're never lost. A credit can only be redeemed onto a workspace that has an active lifetime code, and the resulting add-on then belongs to that workspace. So redeeming a credit onto this workspace before transferring would hand that add-on to the new owner. If You've Added a Paid Subscription on Top

Some lifetime workspaces also carry a paid subscription for extra capacity. If yours does, transferring it cancels that paid subscription — the unused value is credited to your billing account for future use (non-refundable), and the workspace reverts to its lifetime baseline for the new owner. The lifetime entitlement transfers; the paid subscription does not.


Starting a Transfer

  1. Sign in at my.dashboardfox.app (or my-eu.dashboardfox.app for the EU region) and open the workspace you want to transfer.

  2. Open the workspace settings and choose Transfer Workspace.

  3. Enter the email address of the person who will receive it.

  4. Confirm — an invitation is sent to the recipient.


Accepting a Transfer

The recipient receives an email with an acceptance link:

  1. They click the link and log in (or create an account).

  2. They review what they're receiving — including the lifetime status and allocations.

  3. They accept, and ownership moves to their account immediately.


Cancelling a Pending Transfer

If a transfer hasn't been accepted yet, either party can cancel it from the workspace's transfer screen. Once cancelled, the invitation link no longer works and ownership stays put.

Transfers are permanent once accepted. Make sure you're sending the workspace to the right person before confirming.
