Adding a Paid Subscription to Your Lifetime Workspace
Your lifetime deal is permanent — but if you occasionally need more capacity than your stacked codes and add-ons provide, you can add a recurring paid subscription on top of your lifetime plan. Your limits combine, and you keep your lifetime deal the whole time.
How It Works
When you add a subscription to a lifetime workspace:
Your allocations add together. You get your full lifetime baseline (all stacked codes and add-ons) plus the subscription's allocations on top.
Your lifetime benefits are preserved. Stacked-tier capabilities — scheduled jobs, ODBC drivers, and advanced features — remain at the higher of your lifetime tier or your subscription tier. You never lose ground by subscribing.
You can't lose your lifetime deal. Adding a subscription never deletes or replaces your lifetime entitlement.
This is useful for temporary spikes — a busy season, a large rollout, an extra batch of users — where you want more headroom for a while without permanently stacking more codes.
Before You Begin
You'll need:
A workspace that already has at least one lifetime code redeemed
A billing account on the workspace with a valid payment method — see Managing Your Billing Account & Payment Methods
Adding the Subscription
Log in and open the workspace
Go to Billing → Subscription
Choose the plan that gives you the additional capacity you need and follow the checkout steps
Your combined allocations take effect once payment is confirmed — check Billing → Plan to see the new totals
What Happens When You Cancel
When you cancel the subscription (see Cancelling Your Subscription or Trial):
Your workspace reverts to its lifetime baseline at the end of the paid period — all your stacked codes, allocations, and add-ons remain exactly as they were before you subscribed.
The workspace is never scheduled for deletion — lifetime workspaces always fall back to lifetime, not to nothing.
In other words, a subscription on top of lifetime is fully reversible. You return to your permanent lifetime plan whenever you cancel.
Subscription Add-ons vs. Lifetime Add-ons
Note the difference:
Subscription add-ons are recurring and tied to an active subscription.
Lifetime add-ons are one-time and permanent — see Managing Your Lifetime Add-ons.
If you want a permanent boost rather than temporary capacity, a lifetime add-on is usually the better fit.
