Cancelling a Workspace Subscription or Trial

This article covers how to cancel a paid subscription or a trial from the Customer Management Portal. Cancellation does not delete the workspace immediately — see the details below for what happens after you cancel.


Who Can Cancel

Cancellation is available to the workspace Owner and any user with the Billing Member role.


Before You Cancel

If a trial workspace is not cancelled, it will expire naturally and go through a grace period before being permanently deleted — typically around 30 days after expiry. No action is required if you simply want to stop using the workspace.

The main reason to actively cancel a trial is to trigger deletion sooner — for example, to remove data entered during evaluation.


How to Cancel

  1. Go to the main Workspaces dashboard in the management portal.

  2. Click the workspace you want to manage.

  3. Select Subscription from the workspace menu.

  4. On the Plan & Usage tab, scroll to the bottom.

  5. Click Cancel Subscription or Cancel Trial.

A modal will open to guide you through the cancellation.


Step 1: Select a Reason

Select a reason for cancelling from the dropdown. This is required before you can proceed. Once you select a reason, an optional text field appears for additional feedback. If you select Other, the text field becomes required.

Click Continue when ready.


Step 2: Confirm Cancellation

A confirmation screen shows exactly what will happen when the cancellation is processed. Review the details, then click Yes, Cancel to confirm. Click Go Back to return to the reason screen, or close the modal to exit without making any changes.


What Happens After You Cancel

Paid subscription: Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No further charges are made. After the access period ends, the workspace is scheduled for deletion. You can reactivate anytime before that date.

Trial: Cancelling ends the trial immediately. The workspace remains accessible for 3 more days, then it is scheduled for deletion. A subscription can still be started during those 3 days.


Reactivating After Cancellation

If you cancel and change your mind, return to the workspace Subscription page. While the access period is still active, a Reactivate button will appear on the Plan & Usage tab. See the Workspace Subscription & Plan Management article for details on reactivation.
